Hosted by former Sew News editor Linda Griepentrog and Total Embellishment Newsletter publisher Pauline Richards, Sew Much Fun Hong Kong is designed to share with you some of the region's fabric and sewing-related shopping and learning opportunities.
This could be the trip of your dreams and your chance to go behind the scenes in New York’s fashion district. Your guides will be Marsha McClintock and Marla Kazell. Activities include a private half-day city bus tour, a visit to designer Koos van den Akker’s workroom, a private showing at FIT’s clothing collection and a visit to their museum exhibit. We will also visit many of New York’s designer fabric, trim stores and a fabric flower factory. An evening at a Broadway musical is planned along with a private tour at Simplicity Pattern Company. You will see New York’s spectacular view from the Top of the Rock, enjoy a boat tour of Manhattan, as well as some additional surprises. There will also be free time to explore New York.
Hosted by former Sew News editor Linda Griepentrog and Total Embellishment Newsletter publisher Pauline Richards, Sew Much Fun Northwest is designed to share with you some of the region's fabric and sewing-related shopping and learning opportunities. Plus, we'll visit the beautiful Oregon Coast (and two fabric stores).
In addition to the organized portions of the tour, you will have some free time to explore the city's downtown on your own with a list of our favorite places to shop.
