Sew Much Fun New York
May 16-22, 2009

This could be the trip of your dreams and your chance to go behind the scenes in New York’s fashion district. Your guides will be Marsha McClintock and Marla Kazell. Activities include a private half-day city bus tour, a visit to designer Koos van den Akker’s workroom,  a private showing at FIT’s clothing collection and a visit to their museum exhibit. We will also visit many of New York’s designer fabric, trim stores and a fabric flower factory. An evening at a Broadway musical is planned along with a private tour at Simplicity Pattern Company. You will see New York’s spectacular view from the Top of the Rock, enjoy a boat tour of Manhattan, as well as some additional surprises. There will also be free time to explore New York.
