Thursday, April 24 | 12-2:30pm CT | A Sloper for Every Body
with Janet Pray
Member Price: $45
What if you knew it would fit before you cut out any pattern? That’s what making a sloper will do for you! A sloper is a tool that lays the groundwork for creating garments that fit beautifully. Under Janet Pray’s expert guidance, you will gain the knowledge and confidence to master this essential technique. Starting with a knit sloper/block pattern, she will walk you through the steps to fit a knit bodice sloper, ensuring it perfectly contours to your body. Janet will instruct you on how to create a master pattern (Sloper/Block), making all the necessary notations and offering two options for preserving it. Get ready to craft the custom-fit knit wardrobe you’ve always desired. This class will elevate your sewing to a professional level; instead of hearing, “I see you made that,” you’ll hear, “I can’t believe you made that!”
